This policy explains how information is processed when you visit or interact with the ScreenBreathe website. It does not cover your use of the ScreenBreathe Android application; for information on how the app handles local data, focus sessions, and age-screened accounts, please see the App Privacy Policy.

1. About this policy and its scope

It applies to the ScreenBreathe website only. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the website operator.

2. Information processed when you visit

When you visit, technical information may be processed to deliver pages, maintain security, prevent abuse and keep the website working. This can include your IP address, browser and device information, the page or resource requested, and related request details. Service providers supporting the website may process this information under their applicable privacy policies and service terms.

The website does not provide visitor accounts, premium subscriptions, or a contact form; all account creation and subscription management occurs entirely within the Android app or via Google Play. If you choose to email us using a mail link, your email provider sends us your message and the information you include.

3. Optional analytics

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is not loaded unless you accept optional analytics in the consent notice. If your browser signals Global Privacy Control, we treat that signal as a rejection and do not load GA4.

After you accept, GA4 receives page-view information, including the page title, address and path. If you click a link to ScreenBreathe on Google Play, GA4 also receives a click event with the destination URL, link text and page address. These addresses can contain campaign or referral information. The site measures the click to understand marketing performance; however, we do not link your website visit to your app installation, your on-device app activity, or your app account.

Google may process this information and related browser or device details under its own terms and privacy practices. See Google's Privacy Policy. Website analytics do not give us or Google Analytics access to activity stored in the Android app.

4. Cookies, browser storage and consent

Your analytics choice and the time it was saved are stored in your browser's local storage so the consent notice can remember your choice. After consent, GA4 may use analytics cookies or similar technologies.

You can change your choice at any time using Cookie settings in the website footer. If you reject or withdraw consent, the site disables GA4 collection in your browser and attempts to remove GA4 cookies. This cannot remove information Google has already received. You can also clear browser storage and cookies through your browser settings.

Separately from analytics, the site temporarily stores campaign information from the page address in browser session storage and adds referral information to Google Play links. This may include campaign source, medium, name or content. If no campaign source is present, the site adds a general website referral. The referral information is sent to Google Play only if you follow the link; this link behavior is not dependent on analytics consent.

5. How we use information

We use technical request information to deliver and maintain the site, store your analytics choice so it can be applied on later visits, and—only after you accept—to understand page visits and clicks to the ScreenBreathe Google Play listing.

6. Service providers and external links

Service providers support website hosting and security. Google Analytics processes website analytics only after you accept optional analytics. Google Play is the destination for our app links; when you follow one, Google Play receives the request and related information needed to open or use that service. Google Play does not receive all website analytics events merely because you visit this website. External services handle information under their own privacy policies and service terms.

7. Website data retention

Your analytics choice remains in browser storage until you change or clear it. Campaign information is retained for the current browser session. Retention of information handled by service providers depends on the applicable service settings and policies.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

You can reject optional analytics, withdraw consent through Cookie settings, or clear browser storage and cookies. Depending on your location and the law that applies, you may have rights regarding personal information. Contact us using the details below to ask a question or make a privacy request. We will consider and respond to requests as required by applicable law.

9. Website information security

We rely on our hosting and service providers to help deliver the website and handle information. Information sent over the internet can carry risks, and no online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
